Business Plan is the very first step starting a new venture. Business plans may be internally to develop a new product/service or externally to external stakeholders. Business plan is a decision-making document determined by the goals and audience.

Executive Summary
Summarize the whole business plan. It is written for nontechnical people who don’t have time to read the plan. The executive summary is critically important that you create the right first impression.

Business Concept
General description of company or product/service. This part should present the fundamental activities and nature of the venture. You should find the answers for these questions:
- This is a service, manufacturer or retailer business?
- Who are the customers?
- Where is the Company located?
- It is locally, nationally or internationally?
- What makes this business different?
- What opportunities are captured?

Marketing Plan
- Current situation and environment analysis (competition environment, STEP analysis, SWOT analysis)
- Demands and marketing mix (product, place, price, promotion)
- Progress measurement and monitoring, performance analysis (key marketing metrics, Other success metrics)
- Marketing organization

Operational Plan
- Human resources and other capacity requirements
- Materials (infrastructure, software, etc.)
- Financial resources
- Activities
- Desired outcomes
- Quality standards
- Monitoring progress

Financial Plan
Three primary financial statements:
- balance sheet
- income statement
- cash flow statement

Organization
- Ownership
- Directors
- Key staff

Legal considerations
- Agreements, Contracts
- Certification
- Licenses

Appendix
Research, diagrams, charts, pictures, etc.
